Heavenly Kisses
by E. Lorraine Crabtree

Sometimes when I'm feeling low
the Lord will send to me,
A little heavenly kiss
That tells me He loves me.

It may be something simple
Like a song that makes me cry,
Or just a beautiful sunset,
That is perfect to the eye.

A friend will call or take my hand,
Perhaps a tender touch,
Or be there just to understand,
A word that means so much.

He knows the desires of my heart,
And often surprises me,
With little things I never told
Or ever thought I'd see.

He answers questions I might have
In ways you wont believe
From out of the blue, the answers there
And sets my mind at ease.

He is my Heavenly Father,
He also is my friend.
I love His Heavenly kisses.
He's my Savior in the end.

Eternal Time Traveler
 by E. Lorraine Crabtree

I was there from the very beginning.
Time was created by me.
I walked in the garden with Adam
Created the earth, sky and sea.

Noah heard my voice call him
And built the Ark I designed,
To save the people I had chosen
From the flood sent on mankind.

Abraham met me on his way to Canaan
I spoke with him many times
And blessed his children forever
His seed will never die.

When Moses was lost in the desert
He was guided by my light
I parted the sea for my people
To cross safely that frightening night.

Many prophets could hear me speaking.
To the crowds they delivered my words.
John the Baptist was sent to bear witness
And to tell the people what he heard.

I came to earth as Jesus the Messiah
So that all men could see my face
To know how much I love them
And I gave them all my grace.

When they crucified my body
I paid the price for all your sins
Anyone who asks me
I will forgive even him.

I will never fail you
Just put your trust in me.
Take my hand and just believe
Then we will travel eternally.

COME REST WITH ME

By E. LORRAINE CRABTREE
Date:  3/2/2001

COME REST IN THE BACK OF THE BOAT,
WHERE JESUS LAYS HIS HEAD,
THOUGH THE STORM DOES RAGE AT SEA,
HE SLEEPS IN PEACE INSTEAD.

WHERE IS YOUR FAITH, HE ASKS OF ME
WHEN TIMES LIKE THESE ARISE,
DO YOU NOT KNOW I'M IN CONTROL,
JUST LOOK INTO MY EYES.

THE WAVES DO RAGE, THE WIND DOES BLOW,
BUT THEY SHALL TOUCH YOU NEIGH,
CURL UP WITHIN MY ARMS, HE SAYS,
ON THIS YOU CAN RELY.

BE STILL, FEAR NOT, I AM WITH YOU,
BE NOT ANXIOUS AT WHAT YOU SEE,
FOR I LOVE YOU SO ,MY LITTLE ONES,
JUST COME AND REST WITH ME.

Rapture Prophecy
By E. Lorraine Crabtree

I was kneeling in my garden
On a bright and beautiful day,
Surrounded by the flowers
I admired in every way.
I heard a voice calling,
"Look Up" I heard it say,
There was a peace about it,
I wasn't frightened in any way.
When I looked up there was Jesus
Sitting in a chair,
Bare feet and white robe shining,
He seemed to float right in the air.
Then suddenly I was transported
To a place out in space,
I looked back on the earth
It was a gruesome place.
It was very dark and cloudy
A formation then appeared
That looked like a dragon
The earth was struck with fear.
It held the earth in its claws
Like a cat playing with a ball
People fell in horror
There was no safe place at all.
It raised its ugly head
And growled very loud
The people fell to their knees
And fear over took the crowds.
I watched in amazement
As the dragon reared again
And somehow I knew this was Satan
Trying one last time to win.

I shouted to the people
Stand up!  Don't bow down!
Christ’s victory is before you
Just hold on to your crown.
My knees began to buckle,
I was fighting with all my might,
To stand on the name of Jesus
And not give up at this terrible sight.
I heard Jesus call again
"Look up" I heard him say,
Some people stood and stretched their arms,
And they were caught away.
Then I was returned to my garden
The birds chirped cheerfully
The colors of the flowers
Were as pretty as could be.

Somehow I knew I witnessed
Satans last fight in time
And experienced Christ’s’ victory
As He saved all mankind.

My Prayer Garden
By E. Lorraine Crabtree

Come walk with me in my garden
And talk to God with me,
It really isn't difficult
In fact it is as easy as can be.

You see He really. really, loves you,
He really, really cares.
All you have to do is call
And he will be right there.

He wants to hear your whispers,
He wants you to ask Him.
He will help you make decisions,
So put your trust in Him.

No problem is too difficult,
No illness too severe,
No sin is unforgiven
He will wipe away your tears.

So take the hand of Jesus,
He will take you to the throne,
Bow down and ask forgiveness
And you will never walk alone.

Just Beneath the Surface
By E. Lorraine Crabtree

When I sit upon the seashore,
Looking out to sea,
I think about the stories
Jesus told to you and me.

He chose his friends from fishermen
Rough, hardy sort of men,
Who understood the sea,
And where to fish and when.

They knew about the patience
It took to catch a fish,
And Jesus knew the same,
To teach us what he wished.

I gaze upon the water,
So smooth, calm no gale,
Who would suspect beneath,
It teams with fish and whale.

I think this must be like Heaven,
Although we cannot see,
Just beneath the surface,
There is life for you and me.

He Laid His Hands Upon Me
By E. Lorraine Crabtree

A visitor came today,
He said in Jesus’ name,
To lay his hands upon me
And to take away my pain.

He told me Jesus sent him.
He said in his Word,
To heal the sick and comfort them
And teach them what he heard.

His eyes were soft and gentle
His touch was warm and strong,
I knew that something happened
My spirit sang a song.

His peace fell upon me
A glow filled his face
No longer was he a stranger
But Jesus stood in his place.

And

God Laughed
By. E. Lorraine Crabtree

When He created Heaven and Earth,
And filled it with his creators,
God laughed with joy
As He beheld the beauty of its features.

When Adam took a breath of life
He opened up his eyes
There before him stood the Lord
And God laughed to his surprise.

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem
The skies were filled with singing
Good News was brought to the earth
His joyful laughter ringing.

The morning Christ rose again,
And saved the world from sin,
His heavenly Father was filled with Joy
His laughter roared again.
|
On his return to the earth
To snatch away His people
God will laugh in Victory
As He finally destroys all evil.

So join the Lord in laughter
Enjoy everything He made.
For laughter came from Him
Rejoice and Praise his Name.

Fear Not

By E. Lorraine Crabtree

In the time of Our Lord,
When Jesus walked the streets,
Jerusalem was a frightening place,
There was no place for peace.
The people were broken,
Gripped by fear and pain,
The soldiers patrolled near by,
All hope seemed to wane.
Jesus said, "Fear not! You are the light"
Don't be anxious at what you see,
Think about what's pure and right
To defeat the enemy.
Encourage one another
Keep lovely thoughts on your mind.
Praise God in song and dance
And in the darkness you will shine.
Remember all His Holy Words,
This way you wont go wrong.
Tuck them in your heart,
Sing them in a song.
Listen only to good reports.
Seek the just and noble ends.
Do good to those who hate you
Heap coals upon their heads.
Fear not the mind games of the Devil.
He hates to see your peace.
Just keep your mind on Jesus
For He gives you sweet relief.
Meditate on these things.
Fear not the enemy.
I have overcome the evil one
When I died on Calvary.

Adams Joy
By E. Lorraine Crabtree

Adam played in the garden with the Lord
They played like children play.
They danced, sang and laughed together
I t was a perfect day.
His presence did surround him
His peace filled the air.
His light shined on him.
He didn't have a care.
He thought this would be forever.
This would never go away.
He couldn't even imagine
Life would be any other way.
But when he sinned, God left him.
It was a cold, dark day.
For the first time he felt alone
And empty in every way.
"Lord" he shouted out.
His words returned to him. No comfort, no peace
He reaped the reward for sin.
Mankind was destined
To live with fear and pain.
No longer to talk to God,
That is until Jesus came.
He paid the price for Adam's sin
And opened up the door.
So we can play with Him again
And learn to fear no more.
Just ask the Father to forgive
Your failings and your sins.
His precious Son will hold your hand
And walk with you to Him.
His presence will surround you
His peace will fill the air.
His light will shine upon you.
You will know how much He cares.

For Those Who Care
By E. Lorraine Crabtree

Caregivers run in
When everyone else runs out.
A very special ministry
Given by the Lord Himself.

Jesus gave a special task
To those who follow Him.
Care about the sick and needy
Stand in place of Him.

Be His hands, His eyes, His voice
Comfort those alone.
Pray when darkness is all about,
Sometimes share a home.

Cover those who are in the cold
Take off your coat and give.
Warm their hearts and bodies too,
Show them how to live.

The Lord stands with each of them,
Miracles to behold.
Signs and wonders follow them.
They are more precious than gold.

Come Rest With Me
by E. Lorraine Crabtree

Come rest in the back of the boat
Where Jesus lays his head.
Thought the storm does rage at sea,
He sleeps in peace instead.

Where is your faith, He asks of me,
When times like these arise?
Do you not know I'm in control
Just look into my eyes.

The waves do rage, the wind does blow,
But they shall touch you neigh,
Curl up within my arms, He says,
On this you can rely.

Be still, fear not I am with you,
Be not anxious at what you see,
For I love you so my little ones,
Just come and rest with me.

A Perfect Man
by E. Lorraine Crabtree

A perfect man was born on earth,
Jesus was His name.
Flesh of Adam but Spirt of God,
A new creation He became.
Born to a woman who knew not man,
Mary was her name,
Conceived by God's Holy Spirit,
No wrong in Him, He came.
No hate, no greed, no weakness,
No lies, fears or shame.
Just filled with love for all mankind,
He came to take their pain.
Just look upon this perfect man,
And know what God is like.
To see Him is to see the Father,
He told the men that night.
He knew ahead that he must pay,
The debt of all mankind.
Not one man was ever born on earth,
Who could pay this horrible fine.
Willingly He gave His life,
The penalty for mankind's sin.
And Satan took it thinking that
This was the end of Him.
But Father had a better plan,
One only He could do.
Three days later He brought to life,
The son of which we knew.
He walked with men and women,
Ate fish and laughed with them.
They felt the holes in His feet and hands,
And rejoiced along with Him.
He told them how he had to leave,
But in His place instead,
He would send the Comforter
To teach them all He said.
And someday He would return to earth,
A time we do not know,
To take His people home with Him,
Where only believers go.
